How Important is Promotion for Selling Your Home?

One of the most important aspects of selling your home is promotion. You want the largest group of potential buyers to see your online presence. The real estate industry is changing at a rapid pace.  The old way of doing promotion is out the window and embracing technology is the wave of the future.  

The old way of selling a home is what we call the Three Ps:

• Put a sign in the yard
• Place on the MLS
• Pray that it sells

The new Three Ps are:

• Pricing
• Preparation
• Promotion

You want to take an aggressive approach to meet customers where they are....ONLINE!!!!  To do this you are going to need a real estate agent who is technology savvy.

A study by the National Association of REALTORs says that nine out of ten buyers are going to use the internet as a part of their home search.  

If you do not have a strong go-to-market plan to meet the buyers where they are -- you will miss them.  If it's not on google it does not exist. 

You want an online presence for your home and then go out to all the popular destinations with a budget to bring the online traffic to your online presence.  You will want to make sure you and your agent:

• Are optimized for Google
• Run Facebook Ads
• Run Google Ads
• Syndicate to all the third-party sites possible.
