Anne and I shared a birthday, and she was the only person I ever really knew who shared that day with me. We also had the opportunity to serve together on the Board of Directors of our REALTOR® association, and in 2015 I appointed her to chair the Government Affairs Committee—a role that could not have been more fitting.
Anne was deeply involved in her community and fiercely dedicated to Hutto. Her impact was so significant that the City of Hutto named its newest fire station the Anne Cano Fire Station in her honor.
Anne was also a longtime and passionate advocate for Realty Texas. Her legacy is one of kindness, service, dedication, and an extraordinary commitment to both her community and the real estate profession. Her passion was nothing short of legendary.
